They are incapable of doing any services correct. I have been trying to get a hold of a person since 1pm. Their lines are so busy it took an hour of calling before I could be put on hold. I think they quit taking calls at 4pm because it has been telling me the estimated time is 21 minutes for the last 40 minutes. Other than greedy government, what is the point of DMV? They are incapable of doing their jobs.

The service is very slow. I would plan on 2 hours. The slowness is not the employees fault though, there's just too many people, so I guess that means too few DMVs to service the amount of demand.

The employee that my wife and I ended up with was extremely rude. It could have been just bad luck, though. I saw several other employees that seemed nicer, but who knows.

After waiting for 2 hours to get a new resident driver's license, the employee told me that my bank statements were not sufficient proof of residency because I didn't have the pages with the transactions. I asked her why she needed to see the transactions on my bank statement (I had the front page of 2 bank statements that had my address printed on there which is what I thought they needed) and she said "I can't accept an incomplete document." Anyway, after her explaining it it made absolutely no sense to me why a bank statement with my address printed on there was insufficient. I hope your experience is better than mine. I have to go back there now so that they can see how many hamburgers I bought last month, I guess.

Their appointment system is a mess and a joke. I had an appointment to register a vehicle. The dealership gave me the wrong information on what papers I needed to bring. Even though I was early for my appointment, because I was missing a paper and couldn't make it home and back in 20 minutes, they cancelled my appointment. Had to miss work the next day to come back in. Now I keep getting updates for the eta in text message. Every time I have waited more than the eta time, I get another text saying the new eta is longer than the first eta. I hate this place with a passion. They wonder why people hate the DMV... it's because of the complete lack of hustle from them and their willingness to work with anybody. Terrible place with terrible people.

There was a huge line going outside and around the building when I arrived. Not wanting to get into this line if I didnt' need to, I walked up to the information desk and asked where I should be. It turned out the huge line *was* for the information desk. Oops. I left and went to Henderson. The Henderson DMV has a person that greets you and tells you what line to get in, and which line to avoid. Even the line that they said would take 3 hours was shorter than the Flamingo information desk line. Turns out the line I was *actually* looking for (vehicle registration) only had one person ahead of me.

Awesome fast! One hour and a half to change my son's drivers license from Cali to Nevada. L.A. near USC by downtown had 2 hour wait just to get to the information booth. 2+more hours of nightmare after that.

I went here to file a complaint against a dealership who sold me a lemon. Within a week of purchasing a vehicle it’s entire engine blew out. I filed a complaint with the Compliance Division and received absolutely no help, advise or support from these people. I took time off from work, rearranged my schedule, paid for notary and my complaints were legit.

The compliance division acts more like a bureau for document collection rather than action. I advise any one who is filing a complaint against a car dealership to go straight to SMALL CLAIMS COURT. This company is useless, now I have waisted weeks of time and I’ve been out of transportation and guess what? The Compliance Division had nothing to offer me. Don’t waist your time here, really!!
