After having a bad experience with Physical Therapy after my first knee replacement decided to try Comprehensive Rehab for my 2nd knee replacement. The therapist Mike was wonderful very helpful and encouraging. I will go to Comprehensive Rehab if ever needing therapy again.

Comprehensive Rehab is wonderful! I have been battling pain due to bulging discs in my neck. They got me in quickly for an evaluation, and I was set up with Mike, who does a procedure called Dry Needling. (It really sounds scarier than it is!) It's been a miracle for battling my pain. There was improvement almost immediately. That, coupled with exercises with Barb, has enabled me to sleep through the night, and return to my normal physical activities! The front desk is always friendly, and greets you by name when you come in. They have been very flexible with scheduling appointments. I would recommend this small but mighty clinic to anyone! Absolutely wonderful! Thank you Comprehensive Rehab for giving me my normal back!

I have been going for almost a month and a half. I was referred from IA City because I was there prior due to acute respiratory failure and was in the hospital for 22 days. I really lost my endurance during that time and that is where Comprehensive Rehab really help get me there. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful along the way I would not change a thing. Definitely will refer anyone looking for therapy and would go back if I have any issues in the future. Thank you so much!

I have been going here for less than a year. I was bound to a walker and very weak, my mobility was extremely poor. Through the help of both physical therapy (pool and now land) and occupational therapy I am using just a cane for assistance. The staff Michael, Daniel, Joshua, Amanda, Barb are extremely knowledgeable on rehabilitation. Their focus is so precise! Targeting key muscles for not just strength but the overall mobility of your body. I highly recommend comprehensive rehab to anyone in need of therapy. The staff from van drivers, front desk to therapist’s are extremely polite, knowledgeable, and 100% focused on making sure your on your way to recovery!!

Very nice and friendly place with the receptionist being the only exception. Her mannerism is very aggressive and impolite, not only in person but over the phone on every single occasion. Unacceptable I'm my mind. Please hire someone more friendly and people oriented. Geesh.

My experience at comprehensive rehab was fantastic. They have a very caring staff. They helped me through a hip replacement and two knee replacements I was a absolute wreck. I went from a wheelchair to a walker and to a cane. Now I walk the golf course almost everyday. I owe them alot and love their whole staff. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

In the spring of 2021 I slowly started having trouble walking and eventually ended up in a wheelchair. After 2 weeks of hospitalization at the University of Iowa I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder known as POEMS syndrome, some doctors refer to it as a blood cancer. This disorder destroyed the nerves in my legs and hands. Treatment was chemo therapy and physical therapy. After 3 months of chemotherapy I was referred to physical therapy and chose Comprehensive Rehab. I was nervous at first as my disorder had left me paralyzed from the waist down and was concerned about the level of treatment they could provide vs trying to find a way to commute or live in Iowa City to use their world renowned rehab clinic. My care staff at Iowa City told me that my likelihood of walking again was slim and I would be lucky if I could use a walker the nerve and muscle damage was so severe. I can tell you that Comprehensive Rehab in Clinton has some of the most knowledgeable therapists. Within a few months I noticed improvements and was able to start standing, and a few months later because of the hard work and support of the therapist I was able to walk again using a cane. The mental toll of being told you may never walk again is tremendous but from the front desk to the therapist and other support staff they were some of my biggest cheerleaders giving me the courage to keep on pushing and driving myself to the next goal. They have a plethora of tools and resources for patients on their road to recovery. They offer pool therapy and also have transportation, having transportation was huge for me as I couldn’t drive. I can’t thank the staff enough for all they have done !

My experience at comprehensive rehab has been a blessing to my recovery. Mike Gibson the physical therapist I have been working with is very patient and very knowledgeable and compassionate. He demonstrates professionalism and always has my best interest in consideration. He takes the time and listens to my struggles and is able to pinpoint me into the direction of the best treatment for me that day. He has helped me physically and mentally to get back on my running path which was my goal from day one and with no step backs! I work in health care and having a great bedside manner is key and I would rate him a 10! Always picks up conversation from the last visit! I have referred a few of my friends and co-workers and that feel the same way I do!
