Grade A support all around. I didn't get the service techs name, but he really went above and beyond. Took a new bike in for some assistance with basic set up (front wheel and pedal install) and a basic safety check. Stellar turnaround, no pushy sales tactics or up-sell, just straightforward info and help. Immediately felt like I'm a "regular" there based on the welcoming environment and superb staff. Cannot recommend BB enough.

We just left budget bikes and it was a great experience. Craig was very knowledgeable on all the bikes and nice to our energetic little ones. The whole crew was really nice. We bought 2 bikes, bike rack and surprised our Honor Roll student with a brand new well deserved scooter. Lane very patiently walked us through the process of buying a new bike, clearly explained the pros and cons of different types and accessories, and was happy to let us take a half hour to double check the used bike store just to confirm we were getting a good deal (we were).

My girlfriend rode it home and she is thrilled with her purchase and how much better it is compared to her old department store bike. We will be returning in the future!

I go to Budget Bicycle Center on Regent St for all of my bicycle needs. Staff treats everyone with patience, respect and dignity. They listen to your needs and help you find the right bicycle for you. They have also fixed various flat tires I encountered on my commuter bike over the years I bicycled to work at UW-Madison. I have purchased new and used bikes from them for years. I LOVE the Trek FX Sport 4 fitness bike I bought from them in April 2023. I already have 968 miles on it and took it with me for bicycling in Glacier National Park in Montana in July. Thanks to everyone at Budget! You're the BEST!

I was really impressed by the budget bicycle center. We did a 24 hour rental of two hybrid bikes, a 24 inch mountain bike, a 16 inch kids bike, a tagalong and a trailer for our family to explore Madison in Vía bike. When I called ahead, they had everything set up for us when we arrived and were super helpful in figuring out the safest and most kid friendly route to explore the nearby, lakes, Arboretum, and zoo. They provided locks and helmets if needed. They don’t have an hourly rate just 24 hour rentals so if you choose to keep bikes overnight, you need to find a safe place to store them. We loved biking from the store over to B.B. Clarke, Beach and even bikes past the water ski show. It was a very fun adventure!
