I recently had the pleasure of attending a 4-day Power BI Boot Camp class hosted by CompuTrain, and I am absolutely thrilled with the experience. The class was incredibly well-organized and packed with practical, real-world insights.The instructor, Terri Bowers, was absolutely fantastic. Her deep knowledge of Power BI, coupled with her engaging teaching style, made complex concepts easy to understand. She took the time to explain things thoroughly and was always ready to answer questions with clarity and patience. Her real-world examples and hands-on approach helped me gain a solid grasp of Power BI’s features, from data visualization to DAX and data modeling. The pace of the class was just right, giving us enough time to digest the material without feeling overwhelmed. I also appreciated the interactive nature of the course. It wasn’t just about listening to a lecture; we were encouraged to ask questions, which helped reinforce what we were learning. Overall, I really recommend the Power BI Boot Camp training course!

The Excel 365 - Introduction class I took was excellent! My instructor was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and wanted us to ask questions to make sure we understood the material. I even had interactions with the owners, and they were very helpful and pleasant.

We have been sent to this place for the basic Power BI training by our organization. There are lot of things I can say about this place but time is my constraint so I would jot down in few points.

Pros:
. Very useful Bootcamp for the beginners
. Very good environment of the facility and the classroom
. Very nice, understanding, and humble faculty
. Very knowledgeable instructor (Terry Bower)
. You can retake the entire course within 90 days

Cons:
. The material is too much to take in 4 days
. Too many books to read the basics. There should be one book
. Long sitting hours can make your interest fade in the course
. If you don't have an excel background then this can be very
challenging for you even to understand the basics.

Recommendation:
Mark and Terry are fantastic people. Mark. thank you so much for the breakfasts, snacks, and providing a nice environment for the students. Terry, you are very kind and knowledgeable, you know your stuff and you always go above and beyond to help each student.
In my humble opinion, I think this boot camp should be over a week and so rather than in short 4 days. As a student I and some of other students and my peers believed that the quantity of the material is way too much to absorb in 4 days.
Furthermore, I believe there should be only book to read for practice instead of 3 books. Due to long sitting hours, my excitement was fading away and at some point I was about to lose my concentration.

I will recommend anyone, who wants to get his/her feet wet with Power BI and learn the very basics, go to this place and LEARN and while doing, Its ok to "Get lost" but don't "Stay lost". (Terry's saying) Right Terry?

I recently attended Power BI Boot Camp at Computrain and found my experience very valuable. The boot camp was well organized, fast paced, and very educational. I strongly recommend this class and other classes at Computrain for those who want to become more comfortable and knowledgeable at various Microsoft tools.
