Posting anonymously but I was a customer at one your locations. They don’t offer advice, rush to get the job done and talk down to customers. I wish I had gone to someone else even if they charged more at least I would have gotten better service.

Trehan was eager to punch in all the numbers I gave them for my taxes. But, despite asking many questions, they didn't take the time to understand my specific situation. Throughout my appointment, I felt rushed and lost as I was bounced around between 3 different people in a chaotic, open-air environment. It was difficult to ask for advice, and I don't trust the advice that I did receive.
In the end, I felt uncomfortable, so I asked them to not submit my taxes. This was the right decision, because I later got correct tax information elsewhere that altered my return significantly.
Punching in numbers is the easy part. It's friendly expertise and advice that are valuable. And those were severely lacking at my appointment. Not worth the money.

I am disappointed at my last meeting to file my taxes here : I’ve been filing here since I moved to canada however the 2023 tax season will be my last . In the past, I’ve always left with knowledge about how my taxes were done and with explanations . This time I left more confused . I hope he employs more experienced people who are knowledgeable and explain better . They are just so eager to punch in the numbers , the mistake that I made was not stopping them from submitting it as my spouse advised . I really regret not getting off that seat .

My family switched over to Trehan by good recommendations and it did not disappoint. My appoint was on time, Kirin was prepared and efficient, and my tax return was done in an hour despite a couple of bumps in my documents. They even found mistakes H&R Block made last year upon a review. And for a very fair fee that’s a third of the larger company too! Totally recommend this place.

Would like to say a BIG "Thank you" to the staff of Trehan & Company -Accountants & Tax Consultants, Sherwood Park location. I had phoned a few other tax places and they either didn't do taxes for deceased people or would call me right back and not. I called and spoke to a very nice young lady who gave me an appointment to have my moms final taxes completed today. And was surprised that they charged me nothing. So very respectful to my mother. Once again thank you.
